Flight~A Vacation Story~Part Two

Continued... The hammerhead shark on the beach.

It had been washed ashore in the froth of the sea.

Someone's been digging.

The beach is a wonderful place to go to see birds and clouds.

But at some point we must go back through the portal to civilization.

So with sand in our shoes we return.

Though we leave some treasures behind, we keep the memories.

And go past the tree lined road.

Met a lizard on the way to the next destination.

What happened to these trees?

Closed... We'll try again later.

At least we can see the flowers.

Awww... The rabbit is drinking from the bird bath.

Another twisted tree?

Where did the lizard go?

There you are!
But now what do we do?
There is only one option!
Back through the portal!
To the beach!

Pigeons on the beach? What is wrong?
It's got to be the tree portal.

"Good day."
Talking pigeons?!

"Stop following us."
Umm... Okay.

Now what?

"Go chase the sandpipers."
Chase them?

There are so many of them!
But I don't want to chase them.
Oh, look! Sand!

It looks like garlic salt... With fish tank pebbles.
...
*Sighs*
...
Sand art!

Ahh! The perfect beginning.

And now to sign...

What next?

Republic elephant and Democrat donkey.

Hello again.

Okay. Bye.

More pigeons?

"Yes, there are more. Good bye."
Well, onward.
I'll just build a sand castle.

So, much for a 'sand castle'.
*Artfully smashes it*

There we go.

It appears that my brother has found a lot of shells

What is this?

Someone else made sand art!

Beach pictures.

Apparently a day has passed and someone smashed my art.

Josiah and Mom keep finding shells.

A bird soars through the air.

Never mind. I'll make more sand art!

Looking for fish in the surf.

No one will smash this puppy!

I don't think I can build a sand castle...

But I can draw swirls with my feet.

And my mom can shell spell.
But oh, well.
Up a path to a park we go.

To Anchor Park!
But why is it called that?

Is it the dolphin?

Or the giant anchor?
At least we know that we can find and catch lizards here.

Josiah are you king? Or do you mean the lizard?

Sorry, lizard. But we must escort you off the premises.

"Okay, sorry."
Alright, where to next?

Oh, a swamp! Are there alligators?

To Be Continued...
